Yesterday was just like any other day for me. Check in with my online students, take care of my social media posts, check on my sales and ads, and dive into my current WIP (which, I might add, is ¾ of the way finished!). Then, an email came through about an unboxing video shoot I had with a teen Fireflies fan. I dropped everything and opened the video.
So, just so you have some perspective about how nervous I was to watch this video, let me explain the process I went through to make the box. I first conceived of this special edition set a year ago. I wanted to create something special and of high quality that would make a great gift for hard-to-shop-for teens. I know how difficult they are to buy for because I have a teenage daughter. 😉 I set to work, designing and creating each piece that’s in the box. The bracelet, crafted by me, is my favorite and took the longest. I know, you didn’t know that I designed jewelry, did ya? But, I must say, it was a lot of trial and error until I had created the perfect chondria stone. SOOOO worth the time and effort! Finally, I designed the box. Assembling my first box was such fun as I saw all my hard work paying off. Then, after a suggestion from the hubs, I decided to do an unboxing video with a fan. I won’t lie, I had no idea what to expect.
